ReplyDeleteWhat I'm concerned about is the longevity of such programmes. Yes they have a positive socio-cultural impact. But how long will it be before the whole project goes awry because babugiri invariably gets its grimy hands onto it? Not too long methinks. I've seen many such incidences in Maharashtra.
Plus I think there ought to be more support from the people themselves and not just one or two NGOs.
