What does it take to realize your dreams? What does it feel like to live your dream against all odds? What does it take to give up your career and pursue your passion? Or have your career and do what you fancy too. How do people do it? What does it take to not live a life of mediocrity – being that one invisible person among billions? Simply put, what does it take to leave an indelible mark in the canvas of the world? What does it take to make a difference, for the good, however small, in the world? And live to see it. What does it take to be insanely powerful, successful and unrealistically good at doing whatever you do? Is it that you just have it in you or you don’t? Or something much more?
No..Im not delusional. I am not out of my mind to write up a paragraph of questions. I am, as usual, (if not more) deep rooted in reality.
Let’s see what my multifarious readers think about it. Do write in your two cents worth..I ll compile it all for posterity.

"What does it take?" you ask. The answer is very pithy. "Guts."
ReplyDeleteGuts to face the flak this world will throw your way. Guts to face and eventually brush aside the ridicule from near ones. Guts to see your close friends declare you a rebel and get on with their lives without a concern for yours. Guts to give up your life of luxury and adapt to an austere life. Come on, dreams aren't like investments. You'll definitely be left a lot less affluent by the time you think you've achieved your goal. If the world actually paid everyone to do what they love, I'd probably be a billionaire rock DJ.
But you know what. If you do succeed in what you set off to do, these people who abandoned you initially will come running to you to bask in the glory of the unprecedented. But by the time you get there you'll know better than to give up the credit to your glory.
Well lets see, what it takes to live your dream ? First you have to believe in the dream and standy by it all the time. The question is are we ready to get out of the comfort zone that we have right now and give up what we have achieved so far and start new again. The answer is the one's who do it , live their dreams and the one's who dont are as you said the one invisible in the billions.
